How do handball tryouts work?

Hello. im thinking about trying out for my school handball team. For the tryouts, what equipment do we need. Also, how do the tryouts work? i was told that there are 2 cuts. For the first one you play with a big ball and if you make it to the second one you play with a ace ball. Is this true? can you guys tell me wat equipment we need for tryouts and how tryouts work? thanks|||you try handball, then you like it
