Also, i know that sometimes the ball can be different (original handball is smaller and heavier than a racquetball, but many people use a racquetball when playing handball)
But other than that, as far as i can tell the courts are the same and the rules are the same.
Am i missing something or is handball just racquetball with your hands?|||Raquetball is a lot more intense. Also, the ball in raquetball is lighter than a handball, and most raquetballs are blue, and handballs are black. Other than that they are basically the same.
p.s. The other kind of handball is a whole lot different tho.|||I have played handball for 45 years. Racquetball for about 25 years. I play racquetball only when I am injured. Handball is MUCH more demanding. I can start a night of handball at 184 pounds. I will be 178 pounds after four hours. It requires MUCH more skill and energy to be good at it. Try it.

|||Playing with either a racquet or just your hand changes the game dramatically. In racquetball, the game can move a lot faster because the playable surface you have, i.e. the racquet, is larger and the ball is also larger and slower. This makes both defensive and offensive shots "easier" for both you and your opponent. These two factors lead to the potential for longer rallies because less movement is required but also adds potential for a substantial cardio workout.|||i think using the racquet or your hand creates all of the differences, racquet versus hand, gloves, ball size and weight, speed of the game, speed of the ball, etc. they are both great sports|||HANDBALL is a faster game and takes a lot of more coordination so basically it is the harder game and handball that is played with a racquetball is usually for outside 3 wall courts or one wall.|||Racquetball is a faster game with the ball bouncing off the walls fast but you can get a ball in your nuts if the team ates are aiming for you. My suggestion wear a jock and cup.|||yee
