How can people blame the handball for Ghana's loss?

Ok, he did manhandle that ball, and he also hot PUNISHED for it. He got a red card and misses the next game! I could understand if that block had been allowed, I would be complaining too. But that's not what happened, he got penalized and Ghana got a chance to win, but they ****** it up, how in the hell is that Uruguay's fault?|||eye to eye sylvia. Couldn't agree more.|||Under current rules the handball cannot be blamed for Ghana's loss.





But, speaking as an outsider who doesn't watch much soccer, it's clear that Ghana would have won the game if it wasn't for that handball and if the rules were different. In sport, there aren't many examples where the outcome of a match depends on a single incident. The Suarez handball is one of those rare examples. Were it not for that handball at the very end of extra time, Ghana would have won. Even you as a Uruguay supporter would have to admit that. To say otherwise would not be very gracious.|||People are so blind. Ghana's miss of a penalty kick is what cost them. I honestly think Suarez could have blocked with his head or chest but he probably didn't want the ball to be kicked back in so he panicked and used his hands.





And like someone else said, the shootout showed Uruguay was the better team.





The best of the best go to the World Cup and win (eventually, not saying Uruguay would win or anything, no one knows for sure) and not a nation you feel sorry for and hope to win because all of a sudden it's Africa's year? lol

Suarez also was caught and punished. It's only cheating if you are NOT caught. He was caught and Ghana was given a penalty kick (which was missed) and Suarez was kicked out of the game and won't play against the Netherlands.|||i dont Louis was doing everything to keep the ball out. It is the world cup the biggest stage you have to go all in or go home.





If he did not do that then Paraguay lose I am glad to see his sacrifice rewarded Gyan in all fairness should have punished him for his mistake but he didnt he missed the big PK
