The only way I know to clean the handball is rub the ball with a towel wet with a little portion of alcohol.
After this, rub hardly it whith a dry towel, and the handball will be more easily cleaned.
Moreover, exists a specific disolvent for handball, done by the same brand of resin... you can find it looking for TRIMONA or POMONA, the main sellers of Resin.
