Handball??

what can you tell me about this sport, it sounds cool but i haven't heard anything about it around my daliy life.|||Well I can tell you about team handball- Played by Men and Women. Summer Olympic Sport 1972 (men) 1976 (women).





Handball ( or "team handball") is a fast paced game involving 2 teams of 7 players who pass, throw, catch and dribble a small ball with their hands while trying to score goals. The team with the most goals wins the game. A game consists of two- 30 minute halves with a 10- minute halftime break.





The game was invented around the late 1800's and started in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. The reason why you haven't heard much about this sport is because it's a big sport in most of EUROPE, North Africa, and South Korea.





The USA does have a handball team , but we are awful last time we qualified was Atlanta only because of a rule that gives the host nation a spot for each sport. Some colleges even have team handball as a club sport. Read this ESPN story of one women trying to make the team.

If you go to Iceland, Germany, Poland, Denmark, France, Hungary,Croatia, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Slovenia or Tunisia it's a winter sport on TV and people watch professional clubs play in leagues. The following nations also play in international tournaments. ( I gave you most of the major countries)

u just need a blue ball and a big wall


u just hit the ball wit ur hand it kinda hurts at first but its stops hurting after a while u cant let the ball bounce twice either


its a pretty cool sport|||yes look all those teems colts cowboys dolphins redskins jets sox's cougars panthers what do you thing they play well o.k. gladiators ball??|||Well its a bunch of cheesecake|||They play it in prison. No joke.
