How do you soften a handball?

Does anyone have any tips on how to soften a regular handball other than playing with it for a very, very, very long time? Or is there a specific brand that comes softened?|||Look for Gold print Sky Bounces, those are usually the best quality ones because they bounce good and are soft. Penn balls aren't really as good in my opinion but they come kind of soft. People could step on the balls but personally I don't think it works. I also heard of a microwaving trick but I don't think it works.|||well ive been playing handball for about 3 years now and the best way to soften the handball is to keep throwing it to the wall as hard as you can for like 5 mins. straight and it'll be like the handball has been used for a while and it should be soft|||A handball is supposed to be hard. The best way to use one is put it under very hot water for about 5 minutes prior to play. Your hands will get used to the regulation hard ball. Just keep playing
