Handball is played on wooden court or synthetic?

I'm planning to open a handball club in my city. I have doubts on the flooring part.What is ideal and what should i go for.

It's a sport similar to basketball, which is played on a wooden court, so you can relate. But if you watched any of the major tournaments, like Champions League or World Cup, you would have noticed that it was played on a rubber surface. As for the outside court, I wouldn't recommend it if you can play it indoors because the dust sticks to the ball and it is quite difficult to play.
